This is the first book in the Time to Get Ready series and will help explain the phenomenon of hurricanes to children ages 4-8 in a “grow and learn” non-threatening way, from a child’s perspective.
Children will learn through vibrant illustrations and straightforward dialogue about the importance of disaster preparation, finding safety and security during a storm, working with others to recover after a storm, and how to express their thoughts and feelings about the experience.
